Of course, there are tons (no pun intended) of non-fat and low fat substitutions on the market, and lots of easy substitutions that are easy to figure out….  tuna packed in water instead of oil, fruit in it’s own juice instead of heavy syrup, and nearly every dairy product on the market has a non-fat or low fat alternative available… low fat cheeses, cottage cheese, sour cream, and cream cheese.  Heed this warning about some of the low-fat and non-fat products though.  Check the labels!  Some of them are loaded with artificial flavorings and preservatives.  You may be better off consuming the fat than all those chemicals.  And don’t think that you’re being healthy by consuming non-fat cakes and cookies, as most of them include lots of sugar, corn syrup, or other non-nutritional and wasted calories…  not to mention the jillions of preservatives, colorings, etc.
